An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to join our dynamic Team in our Drogheda Facility.
Personal attributes – You will be a self-motivated problem solver, enthusiastic, energetic with a “can do” attitude and a strong customer focus. Equally capable of working alone or as part of a team. A strong communicator with excellent inter-personal skills.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND/ WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Third level education to degree (minimum) in an engineering subject
  • 5+ years QMS experience in an ISO 9001:2015 environment
  • Certified Lead or Internal Auditor training in ISO 9001:2015
  • Experience of continuous improvement methodologies including Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma Techniques plus Validation, would be an advantage.
  • Preferably with working knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016
  • Knowledge and/or experience of OH&S Management Systems e.g. OHSAS 18001 or ISO 45001:2018.

Additional skills – computer literacy on standard office software, full international driving license

Languages – fluency in both spoken and written English essential with Polish / German also being an advantage.

FLEXOGRAPHIC/DIGITAL PRINTER

JOB DESCRIPTION

• operating a flexographic printing machine (narrow web roll printing)
• operating a digital printing machine (narrow web roll printing)
• works related to preparing and setting up the printing machine
• selecting and mixing inks for printing according to specified standards
• checking and supervising the correct operation of the machine
completing production documentation
• maintaining order in the area of the operated machine
• ensuring that work is completed on time and to schedule
• helping to maintain the printing machine
• working in accordance with current standards, procedures and norms
• compliance with health and safety rules

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of printing – flexographic or digital technology (essential requirement)
• Experience in working on a similar position for at least 2-3 years (essential requirement)
• Knowledge of Mark Andy machines will be an additional advantage
• Ability to distinguish colours,
• Ability to evaluate the aesthetics and quality of printing products,
• Good organization of work, responsibility and self-discipline
• Accuracy, diligence, striving for perfection in performing tasks,
• Communicativeness and ability to work in a team
• Motivation and willingness to work
